Bad day.

Remediation company came out as scheduled to assess the bathroom.  The news isn't good and the rain damage is worse than anticipated.  I'll spare you the ugly pix of bathroom ceiling wreckage, you've seen them before.  This is the interior wall in the vanity area, the rain traveled along a beam inside the ceiling in the bathroom and down inside the wall, so we'll be losing this too along with the door trim, etc., etc.  They didn't find moisture readings as far down the vanity/sink, it stops mid-way down the wall.  I guess we can be grateful for that, but until I am on the other side of this mess it's very difficult to feel gratitude.

The roofer stood us up again.  No words fit to blip.

To be doing this all again within 12 months (or at any time!) is surreal.  And unacceptable.
