American Robin Fledgling, Summer's Meadows, CA

It seems like every bird you see this time of year is involved in some kind of nesting activity, whether it be building a nest, sitting on eggs, or feeding hungry chicks. The robins seem to be a bit ahead of the game; this is just one of several American Robin fledgling I've noticed over the past few days. Their usual strategy is to sit as still and quiet as possible until one of their parents shows up with some food, making them particularly good photography subjects.
