Domestic House Spider

or Tegenaria domestica.  These spiders live in our houses in attics or cellars or places which are not disturbed very often.  This one was on the cloakroom wall this morning, I just left it there as it was not doing any harm - they never do harm, it's just us who are scared of them!

Looked after J this morning while K cleaned the shepherd's hut for the next visitors.   Granddaughter I was out with T beating on the shoot with another little friend.  We actually had some sunshine this afternoon so I went outside and did a bit of gardening!  I noticed at the top of the lane more daffodils are pearcing the ground with their leaves - not long now. 

 Another bad storm has been forecast for tomorrow night....
