A day in the life

Oil

This might be the origin to one of the oils I use in my cooking, Brassica natus, or "Raps", as it's called in Swedish. It seems to have done well during the mild autumn and winter and will rest until spring comes along, when it will grow fast to form great big yellow fields and a special scent that is much loved.

Seen during my walk this morning. I suddenly saw the sun blasting out and thought I'd go for a walk early in stead of in the afternoon but when I got dressed and got outside, it was vanishing behind clouds. Still, I had a nice walk, there's no snow at all left and today has offered 8 degrees above zero, which feels quite warm actually, eight degrees in summer is very much colder than today.
