Song Thrush

Lovely to see our daughter and granddaughter today. Mishka loved it that they visited.

It's so nice to hear the birds singing their spring songs. I got a shot of a song thrush singing but the aspect was wrong so I've posted the above.

I got a distant shot of a pair of redwings in the southerly oak tree. They're migrants from the thrush family and it is said that they appear when bad weather is on the way.
