Winter Delights

This morning we cycled to the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens near Romsey. We got caught in a heavy rain shower on the  way, but thereafter it remained dry, confirming our decision to cycle was the right one.  
The Winter Garden was looking particularly stunning with shrubs such as Cornus, Hamamelis, and Daphne. However, my blip is of an early flowering   Hellebore, Helleborus x nigercors "Ice Breaker Max". 
The first extra is of  the pond which  has been decorated for the night-time "LightsUp" illuminated trail, taking place daily during December. 
Second extra is of flowers on one of the Hamamelis shrubs, and the third extra is cones and foliage on a very striking Chamaecyparis obtusa "Crippsii".
