Dull and gloomy!

This morning was very dull and gloomy with heavy rain and my challenge was to try and capture the mood.  I didn't venture outside but took up position in my hallway looking towards the front door.  Even though it was past 10am it was dull enough to require house lights switched on.

I used portrait format and a low point of view, in fact I was seated on the floor.  Outside the view is limited with only a few rays of daylight streaming through.  The little statuette outside catches the light nicely helping to create a mood.  I hope the image succeeds!
