The trip south

We decided to try and bear the worst of the snow and other weather by setting off early this morning. It did mean we missed the snow and gales expected on the A9 near Dalwhinnie and did also mean we caught this fabulous dawn/ sunrise in the area (see extras for the other side of the road)
Alas we didn’t quite outrun the weather altogether and one of the extras was taken by sis on the M8 nearer Stirling!
Now settling in for the night at Penrith before doing the last stint home tomorrow
