Slowing down

This sign above a small blackboard for notes, is in my kitchen. I like the quote, and I do listen to the message, especially at this time of year.
It has been a hot day today - the predicted rain consisted of a few drops only.
I spent the morning doing housework - vacuuming and ironing - not my idea of fun!
