Nigella damescena

A friend of mine is visiting San Francisco this week and I went there today to see her. We went to the Botanical Garden in Golden Gate Park. She is an avid birder and we saw a few Allen's hummingbirds while there. Neither of us had seen one before. But the picture, if I have identified it correctly, is Love-in-a-mist.
