Too excited to sleep.

Now, my kids are teen/tweenage and know all about Santa, but the magic continues.

When they were small, they shared a bedroom. Soon enough they gained their own spaces, but began a tradition that they would 'have a sleepover' on Christmas eve in the bigger of their rooms. This involves the other's mattress being moved in and a lot of giggling and excited tee-hees coming from the room well past actual bedtime. I feared this year, they'd be reaching an age where it might naturally fizzle out, and that little bit of magic would be lost forever. But no! They requested the services of big strong Daddy to move furniture once again for their annual evening of agreeability. My heart!
