The Pensioner

Fine Single Malt for the masses

A morning along at JK’s (no, not the author) to sit and have coffee and biccies with her and her friend Sal and more importantly, visit her acclaimed garden pod. My word, it’s quite a monster of a thing. She told us a great deal about planning and building control. We’d mentioned doing something with our newly acquired piece of ground, but it’ll certainly be nothing like that.
Back to refuel and then I stepped off to Tynecastle for the final game of the year, against Ross County, the second bottom side. A little Raasay to warm me on the way. After away wins at Parkhead and Easter Road, this would be a doddle. Unfortunately that was maybe what the team thought too, and they soon found themselves two nil down. Well, fancy that. Ach well, we eventually scuffed an equaliser and so we’ve ended the year in third place. That’s actually top slot in the alternative SPL as you(se) all know, to drop into football speak. Wee has went toap!
