The Decisive Moment?

A good idea to check both ways before walking past the large puddle!
This is the bridge over the Dene, probably the lowest point in the village. In mediaeval times this was a ford.   In the extras, two views of the river from the bridge.

I have removed the dog-doo bin as it spoils this scene of  idylic rural life.  

Gill's advent calendar blipped late for yesterday.
