Elk, Big Horn Sheep and Trumpeter Swans

And a Very busy day it was! Beautiful sunrise views of the Grand Tetons, a visit to the Amazing National Museum of Wildlife Art...were we enjoyed a delicious lunch. Then off to the National Elk Preserve where a couple thousand Elk were happily grazing. We were fortunate to get good shots of Big Horned Sheep high up on a mountain ledge and on our way back to  Jackson we spotted some Trumpeter Swans.

After getting back to Jackson, we ate a very tasty dinner and then watched what is called the 'Skiers Torch Parade'; what seemed like hundreds of skiers carrying red 'torches' skiing down the slopes of Snow King Mountain, a truly amazing sight! We were then treated to an impressive fireworks display.
