A fire on New Year’s Day!!??

It’s ridiculously cold here today, in fact it’s unprecedented if you’re prepared to accept the modern media definition of “unprecedented “, meaning that a particular event hadn’t happened for a few years.
I recall lighting a fire for Christmas dinner 3 or 4 times over the 40 years we’ve lived in the Mountains - hopefully it’s a bit warmer tomorrow.
