Hogmanay

My last book of the year was the novella 'Small Things Like These' by Claire Keegan. Set in an Irish town in1985 in the weeks leading up to Christmas it's a story of hope, compassion and heroism. A perfect end to the year.

In the afternoon I donned my running shoes for a 5km around the Meadows enjoying the winter blue skies and sunshine. 

By 16:30 we were cooried in for the evening and made it all the way to the bells at midnight!
