Here comes 2024!

Happy New Year! It was lovely to be out in the fresh air, though we did not overdo it last night. The dinner was great and the chat around the table was fun.
Today's weather was actually pretty good, so we ventured for a walk onto the beach at Southerness. The light was quite extraordinary. a sort of silvery grey.
I am enjoying a quiet day and there will be no cooking, but eating leftovers - brilliant!
