Sack race

I had the morning off today to go and watch Jacob compete in the KS1 Sports Day. He did really well with three second places.

This photograph was taken at the end of the obstacle race (through hoop, bean bag on head, bounce in sack) when he was flying and way in front. However, the next image in my collection shows him at an impossible angle that resulted in him toppling over inches before the finish line. He struggled to get back into his sack and ended up crossing the line in second place.

Jacob followed this with a magnificent run in the log distance to come second, and a great team effort to come second in the relay.

All in all, he was very pleased with himself.
