Chinese Gingall ...

... a mounted musket resembling a tiny cannon and sited next to the Town Hall, Bellingham. The gun was captured by British forces during the Chinese Boxer rebellion.  The gun was acquired by Commander Edward Charlton, one of the Hesleyside Charltons (later Admiral Sir Edward Charlton) who was serving with the British forces tasked with subduing the rebellion.
