New Year's Day.

It is an odd collection of images but it sums up my day.
Walk in the park this morning- the rose ringed parakeets are much easier to see this time of year. I pass the limestone wall on my way to the park. Amazing to think Sunderland was once a tropical reef with limestone concretions- that's the proper term for the patterns. First snowdrops. Then games with friends. 
Special New Year's day meal too.
