Afternoon rest

After a busy morning fishing, this Little Pied Cormorant rested on the rocks of Seven Mile Beach at Lennox Head this afternoon. I though it had a slightly bashful look..

We've had only a shower of rain today, much less than those further north who've had torrential rain and electrical storms for many days. We drove through some of it yesterday, coming home from Christmas and New Year in south-east Queensland.
