Hogmanay with some family catch ups and a nice meal, followed by a quiet seeing in of the New Year at home, with TV and a negroni.

Changed days perhaps, but warm, dry, no chasing down of taxis at 1am and a very nice wee night.

In the garden, the winter jasmine is having its moment, such a surprising chime of colour at this time of year.
