Mostly Six Five Oh

New Year's Eve

We could hear the surf thundering throughout the night.  After breakfast we saw there was not much beach to speak of so instead of a walk we drove down to Bean Hollow, a favorite spot, but much too dangerous to get anywhere close (last extra).  We stood well back and watched the waves roaring in.  Drove a little further down as there's a more sheltered beach along Pigeon Point Drive.  As we parked up we could see bubbles floating up from the beach...

What a delight.  The guy’s dad came over and chatted with us, they live in Santa Cruz and spend a lot of time creating these bubbles at beaches up and down the coast, dad does all the video.  Dad also gave us the link to Cam's Youtube and the recipe for the bubble mixture (extra) and where to get the wands if we wanted to do some ourselves.  His dad said these bubbles bring people a lot of joy - they do, we loved watching this whole thing.  I took a few pix and a lot of video.
