As time goes by these shy birds are getting less shy. Last year they were here and gone before I could focus the camera. Now they are staying a bit longer. I saw a blip of one on someones hand last year and was amazed.

Other garden news- If I am leaving the house via the back door, I have started to take a few morcels of food down for Charlie. He was sitting on the next door's roof this morning when I called his name and he actually flew down. I am sure it was the rapport we have and not the bit of crust I had in my hand.
