it’s been raining

All day from about 9.30 this morning. This is the road in front of our house and the field across the road. Everywhere is flooded - the lawn is underwater as well as the vegetable patch and the soft fruit area. Fortunately our house is up a few steps. Water is flooding down from the field at the back of where we live and the ditches at the top of the back garden and the side are overflowing. Even the patio is flooded. Nelly and Ziggy aren’t impressed. Took this pic just after 4 this afternoon from the bedroom window.
