The Longest Day

We now arrive at the summer solstace which is where the media circus descends on Stonehenge (other circles are available) looking for trouble and when there isnt any they setlle for portraying everyone there as loonies when in fact they usually are quite nice people, very disapointing.
I also had a very welcome phone call from my eldest son who is serving in Afghanastan to report the current tempreture reading as 53c (in the shade) and tales of being well fed and prices in the NAFI, all from my point of view happily mundane.
