There's A New Sheriff In Town, Boys!

The White-wing Doves have always seemed to be able to Intimidate the other birds, even the Blue Jays!  So, I was surprised when I saw this Red-bellied Woodpecker clearing a flock of twelve Doves from the rail---and they were not leaving without a protest, but, the Woodpecker did get every one of them to go by herding them along the rail until they flew away.  He is the top of the avian hierarchy around these parts-----for now.......
