Happy new year!

My son and his partner were determined to see the new year in, by a swim in the sea. We all went to cheer them on and walk along the sea front.
It was cold and windy. They did not stay in for long. The waves were strong and threatened to tumble them over. Back to the warmth of my daughters nearby flat for hot drinks and food.
