Red Dragon in the Sky

My Japanese friend told me that it was the year of the Dragon in 2024 (apparently the year officially starts on 11 February). I was thinking of her when I saw this, this morning, as I haven’t had any news since the earthquake in Japan. However, as she lives in Tokyo, I am sure she is OK.

The Dragon is a powerful and auspicious creature in Chinese and Japanese mythology, representing courage, creativity, and innovation. Dragon people are charismatic, ambitious, adventurous, and fearless. They have confidence, independence, and vision. They are not afraid to pursue their dreams and goals. This fits my friend, born in 1952, perfectly, even though she is tiny!
