Anyone for Cricket!

Ivybridge lies about 10miles east of Plymouth, on the edge of Dartmoor. The River Erme plunges down through the town and was once harnessed to provide power for a large Victorian paper mill. This water turbine is situated in the corner of a small car park. It was once located a short distance away and was used to generate electricity for the town. Some people refer to it as the snail because of it's shape. Alternatively, it could be a memorial dedicated to the West Indies Cricket Team, if viewed as a bowler's hand poised to take another wicket!
