A Garden Visit

Today we drove to the Jardín Botánico - Histórico La Concepción which is on the outskirts of Malaga but it felt like another world. Even in January there were colourful flowers.
We went 'Round the World in 80 Trees'. The first extra is from a display of  'A room of Curiosities'. There was even a room of dioramas showing scenes from the history of the family who created the gardens, entirely populated with Barbie and Ken dolls. (second extra)

In 1990, the estate was purchased by Malaga City Council for 600 million pesetas (€3,606,073).

After a lunch of salad at their outdoor cafe we walked round for a couple of hours and only covered half the area. It was a great bargain at 3 euros  each for retired people.
