In extras: In our quest to seek out new tea/coffee venues we found ourselves at The Station in Richmond this morning. Richmond Station opened as part of the Newcastle to York branch line back in 1846. The last trains left in March 1969. Since then the building has been a farm/garden supply centre but mostly left empty. Since the early 2000s it has been redeveloped into what it is today, a community hub including cinema, cafe, art gallery and micro shops. 

I have added my usual AvgCamPro image but also an overview to give you an idea what it looks like. The map locates the station and not the parking which was in Catterick Garrison.
