Where the landscape and light are wild and gorgeous

Came down on the Heuston to Westport train yesterday, met by my son and 20 mins drive to Mulranny.

They do their shopping in Pax in Westport - no packaging, bring your own containers, quality food. Then home to local oysters and salad washed down with carrot, apple and ginger juice.

Today a swim on a deserted beach; (extra); golf on local course with piebald ponies trotting around the greens, search for old Irish Goats

Fresh fish from the van in the town; chatting to all and sundry and lastly a trip to Mulranny Arts Centre where I snapped the stone tower and caught a bit of a rainbow. I will be in bed by 9
