If you can't beat them...

Primula sieboldii "Snow Flake"

Clickychick decided she wanted to change the colour scheme for the Lodge's Christmas tree next year.  So she suggested we try Hayes for cut price baubles.  She managed to find enough of the right colour so she was correct in her suggestion.

I intended that we would make a stop at Waterfoot to look for more colour ringed gulls.  When we got there it was raining heavily and I didn't fancy standing around in the rain with a camera and long lens.  Anyway, there were no gulls around.

So I settled for a shot of flowers at Hayes.  It was labelled Primrose Snowflake, which is a little misleading in my opinion.  It is not related to our common primrose Primula vulgaris.  P sieboldii is a native of east asia.
