The Meadows

Wednesday evening and we’ve re-started the weekly ‘find a new pub’ routine but are having to move further afield from the Pleasance. Tonight it was the Golf Tavern, not exactly new to us but it’s been about 8 years since I crossed its doors so near enough. Cold and empty when we arrived meant it scored low on the atmosphere points but the food and beer selection were OK. Way over the top on TVs though, unless it’s become a Sports Bar?
The Extra is just to remind me never to order this zero alcohol ‘beer’ again!
