Art For Art's Sake . . . 10 cc

Today with Jen we again walked the walkway beside the Maitai and down to the sea.  The little coffee cart was too busy so we had coffee in Nelson at Riverside.  We needed the shade it was a hot walk.  Just past the library is this mesmerising sculpture.  Called Family Tree it is by Phil Price who grew up in Nelson.  He has several kinetic works based on disc like shapes stacked and moving.  Without wind it moves only a little but when a breeze picks up in sways and rises and dips beautifully.
On Monday the forester was digging potatoes and cut through the fibre cable. I have been using my phone to Hotspot and blip. Yesterday a nice man came and repaired the cable. I will catch up with everyone soon.
