Muttley's Musings

Mid-summer meadow

Well today is the summer solstice, and it started off dark, drizzly and even misty! It has finally improved after tea. I took the bike out for a spin along the bypass. I noticed this meadow that has been created by the construction of the bypass cutting off the corner of a field, leaving this small part which is developing into a wildflower meadow.

I've also seen a kestrel, a skylark and several magpies while out cycling.
