Funkturm

I had a vague plan to get up early to get some stuff done. Instead I finished book #1 this year which admittedly I started last year. The final part in Charles Stross epic Merchant Princes series. I didn't disappoint and I think it is one of the best stories I have read. In the afternoon we did venture out into town to find a kitchen table. So far we used our garden furniture that we bought during lock-down. We have now properly arrived in Berlin and transported a bit of furniture by U Bahn.

I really like the Funkturm. It was opened in 1926 and broadcast the first TV programme in 1929. It features a restaurant and a viewing platform. Will definitely go and check it out some time.
