Southerness

First full day of our holiday.

We spent the morning exploring Kippford and walking all along the front. Very nice.

After lunch we headed off to Southerness. It does have an impressive lighthouse, but the rest of the place could do with a bit of a face lift. I'd last been

there 10 years ago and it looks like not much has been done in the way of tarting-up in the mean-time.

Back home to the lodge and it was spag-bol for tea and the first in a few games of cluedo.
