Louth's 0 degree festival

Louth is on the Greenwich Meridian Line and today is the start of 2 weeks of festivities and community activities spread round the town. The Knit and Natter Club have been decorating all the statues and knitting has appeared all round town! Knitted wall plaques, bunting, hanging baskets, streamers. you name it and it has probably been knitted. This is a statue outside st James' Church sporting new knitted attire with the 0 degree emblem on the back. Tonight there was a party in the pews of this church with dancers, singers, drummers and food and wine. A jolly - sunny! - evening for Midsummer's day. Am now going to relax in the garden cos it's a beautiful evening. Hope you all have had a great Midsummer's day!
