Pink Astrantia

Funny sort of a day?? Had big plans to do lots of things, but nothing worked out quite like that - oh well.

I did end up wandering around Trentham at the right time of the day, though. Late afternoon, the sun finally came out, and it was warm and quiet.

Lots of flora and fauna to see, even a female scorpion fly! The bees were flying madly on the same plant as yesterday, but I didn't really have much patience with them today, so no photos. I just watched them instead.

But I was back into the gardens for this shot. I actually loved the gorgeous green background. It's some kind of prairie grass.
