"Thanks all the same,

but I think I'll stay in tonight."  I like this quote by Emily Dickinson.  It suits me too.  It inspired me to make this assemblage.  It is meant to hang on the wall, but I photographed it on a couple of books.  Books, after all, were Emily's favorite things; mine too.  The image of Emily I got when I visited the Dickinson House in Amherst, MA last May for my birthday.  I was just waiting for the right bit of inspiration to create something with it.  It feels so good to me back in the studio again after the holiday hustle.
