Best Pear Bread Recipe

We had an abundant D'Anjou Pear crop this year. Fortunately the squirrels were too full from eating all the Fuyu Persimmons that they didn't bother with the pears.  We were eating pears with cheese, pears in salad, poached pears in red wine with mascarpone.  I also tried multiple pear cake/pie/gallette/bread recipes.  The winning recipe, hands down, is this pear walnut bread recipe.  It uses a lot of pears (4 cups chopped!) and make 2 loaves (plenty to share of freeze for later).  Having shared the bread with many folks, they also asked that I share the recipe.  And so here it is!
