The last dregs

I’m determined to get my money’s worth from the Christmas candles. I’ve no idea how I’m going to extract the final little nubbins from the candleholders!

We’ve started to take down the festive decorations and get the house back to normal, but knowing us, that will take some time. We’re terrible procrastinators. Or maybe it’s more accurate to say that we are very good at procrastinating!

There is a little downstairs loo under our stairs and we’ve been talking about decorating/remodelling it for about ten years now. This may be the year! I hope so.
