Proud face

Up at ridiculous o'clock to head to a hotel on the NEC Birmingham complex for our company conference.

It was plain sailing up the motorways, I think some people may still be on holiday.  The M42 didn't have any problems on it at all.

The conference was good.  I had a proud face as two of my team were presenting.

In the evening we had an after dinner speaker in Ollie Ollerton and then joke money casino games, a photo booth and a caricature artist.  It was a good evening and a good day.

My proudest moment was seeing my young padawan on stage though, she was bloody awesome!  Everyone was coming up to me after she done her piece and was telling me.  Somebody compared it with an Apple product launch, she was that professional and owned the stage.  I'm glad over 120 people saw what I've always known.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  Seeing my young padawan be totally awesome and shine
2.  A good conference and a fun evening
