Now, as I see it......

The Routemaster Route

The show last night, Witness for the Prosecution, was excellent; rather than a theatre it was performed in the rather grand Council Chamber in County Hall, the old home of the long defunct Greater London Council.  Being a courtroom drama, the setting really suited the play and we thoroughly enjoyed it.  Of course, the audience is sworn to secrecy so I can't tell you the outcome but I'm sure many people will have seen one of the film or TV versions.  Suffice to say I only just remembered right at the end how it turns out.

Today we had arranged to meet some friends for lunch at The Ivy so after a light breakfast we headed over to Covent Garden for a little look round beforehand.  The company was good and the lunch was OK, but not up to the standard we've had there before.  Then home; the train we were booked on was cancelled but we managed to get onto one half an hour earlier so we were home by 7pm.

I didn't have much opportunity to take any shots today but spotted this Routemaster outside Waterloo station as we were leaving the hotel so bagged it just in case.  As you can imagine, there's not been much spare time so I'll catch up on blip over the weekend.
