6 days early

Had wandered around the garden this evening admiring all the new flowers that had appeared. Snap,snap , snapping thinking there would be a good blip. Then while doing some tidying up I found the seagull egg remains.
It wasn't as fresh as last year's which landed right outside the front door. This one was near the back door . Last year it was found on 28th June.
Now I am worrying about the blackies and if they have had any success in their wee nest. I don't see much activity and Mr hasn't flown close to us as we have gone down the path but we think they are still about.
