Fields…

… under water today as we traveled to Yeovil. So much water everywhere.

Wonderfully though, after quite an eventful journey even getting to Waterloo, we arrived at Yeovil Junction. Sarah and Charlie met us and he’d happily been watching the trains so the delay hadn’t bothered him.

It’s been a sad visit and the difference in our dear sister is very noticeable. Neil also so poorly and unable to give her any help. How blessed to have their family nearby. But it’s so good to visit, enjoy time together, make a meal and eat together, change bedding, do ironing, have cups of tea, chat….

And then it’s time for the taxi to take us back to the station. A quiet journey back to London and the dark outside meant no views to distract our thoughts. At Waterloo Little Sis headed for the tube and Big Sis and I literally ran across the bridge to Waterloo East and made it for our train home.

And we’ll do the journey again next week.
