Canon wide carriage printer/plotter for architectural type drawings etc. It hadn't been used since before lockdown, and predictably it had seized up. I had a full set of consumables for it, and following the instructions that appeared on the wee screen ended up using them all. It seems to be sorted, judging by the test prints.
A proper test is to print out a picture of something on it. My favoured type of photo to test it, is a long stitched panorama, as it uses the full length of the paper, but doesn't need a lot of the paper or ink. The latter being the expensive part. Unfortunately none of the PC's are currently set up for printing to it. Hopefully it'll still be okay by the time we do have a proper test.
The above message - it had to have that done a few times, and the whole process took about an hour and a half.
