All in a day's work

Wish I could say we have had a lovely day out walking. Instead it’s been a day spent  getting the house back in order, taking down all the decorations and dismantling the tree (its artificial) and putting all signs of Christmas 2023 away. 
Finally, order is restored. Just picked up a text from a friend. We were supposed to have been at the Macrobert this evening for Verdi’s Nabucco, live streamed from the Met. Ouch!
